Super Late Models - FALLOWEEN 150

Andrew Morrissey of Deforest, WI capture the Inaugural running of the Super Late Model FALLOWEEN 150 Sunday afternoon at The Dells Raceway Park. The 2015 DRP super late model rookie of the year Alex Prunty and the 2015 ARCA Midwest Tour Champion Ty Majeski brought the 24 car field to the green for the inaugural running of the FALLOWEEN 150 with Alex Prunty taking the early lead and Majeski in pursuit. The Caution would fly early on lap 9 for an incident which would claim Genoa City driver Brandon Hill as his car would be done for the day. On the restart Alex Prunty was still having things go his way as he continued to lead until lap 28 when Ty Majeski would slip past an take the lead away. At the halfway break it was Majeski, Prunty, Morrissey, Mike Lichtfeld, and the events fast qualifier Skylar Holzhausen now entering the top five. On the restart Majeski looked strong but Morrissey would stalk Majeskis' every move, with 25 to go Morrissey filled the mirror of the multi time feature winner and then with 15 to go it was Andrew Morrissey's time to shine as he took the lead from Majeski and set his sights on victory lane at the track he once called home. Majeski held on for second, Mike Lichtfeld, Skylar Holzhausen and Dennis Prunty would round out the top five. We at Dells Raceway Park would like to Thank All the Fans and Race Teams who came out to DRP for the running of the Inaugural FALLOWEEN 150 and made it a Great Day !
