Friday Night Review

Even though rain was all around us on Friday it stayed dry at the speedway allowing us to complete the racing program including the bike / big wheel / power wheel races for the kids. A big thanks to First Supply and Ziegler Crane Service for their generous donations of bikes and trophies.

Congratulations to Friday night feature winners Jon Reynolds Jr. (Late Models), Robert Hansberry Jr. (Sportsman), Nick Schmidt (Bandits), and Trevor Addams (Super Cups).

The win for Reynolds Jr. came after the race when the apparent winner was disqualified and the runner-up was penalized two position for a restart violation. In the Sportsman, Hansberry Jr. picked up another win and increased his lead in the points race. A crazy and wild Bandits feature saw Nick Schmidt take home the checkered flag while Dave Schmidt set a new track record in qualifying.
