Steve Carlson and Tom Gille brought the twenty-two car field to the green flag in the second 30 lap main event. Gille took the early lead followed by Carlson, John Beale, Zack Riddle, and John Baumeister Jr. On lap 2 Beale moved past Carlson for second with Riddle taking third from Carlson on lap 4.
Beale moved to the inside of Gille to take the lead on lap 8 while Riddle also found his way past Gille as the three were catching lapped traffic. Ty Majeski, who started eleventh, broke into the top five on lap 21 shortly before disaster almost struck on lap 22 when a car spun in front of the leaders bringing out the caution flag.
Beale would bring the field back to green followed by Riddle on the inside and Baumeister Jr. on the outside with Gille and Majeski in the third row.
When the green flag waved, Beale continued his leading ways with Riddle a car length behind and five lengths back was Baumeister Jr. On lap 26 Gille and Majeski made contact allowing Jeremy Miller to move into fourth.
One lap later an incident involving two cars on the backstretch brought out the caution flag and setting up another restart. As he had done all race long, Beale continued to lead putting a car length between himself and Riddle. On the final lap Riddle made contact with Beale while going for the lead, but Beale somehow was able to keep his car under control and hang on for the victory. Baumeister Jr., Gille, and Bobby Wilberg completed the top five.
