Dells Raceway Park has been long known as a premier race facility in the Midwest since its inception in the 1960’s. Racing Super Stars have traveled to the upper Midwest third mile speed plant to make their name know for decades. National short track legends such as Trickle, Back, Holzhausen, Carlson, Reffner, Shear, Marzofka, Walbeck, Marcus, Martin, Bickle & Kenseth made regular trips to the Dells in front of standing room only crowds and as the changing of the guard has taken place in the ranks of short track racing we have come full circle to witness a new group of young lions & crafty veterans. The 2016 FALLOWEEN 150 will prove to be a showcase of talent invading the speedway for the October 23rd fall classic. Headlining the display of young talent will be Ty Majeski from Seymour WI, fresh off his Oktoberfest and ARCA Midwest Tour championship along with Edgerton’s Casey Johnson who sweep the Wisconsin State Championships at Jefferson Speedway and the Big 8 and National Short Track 200 at Rockford Speedway in September along with the Triple Crown Championship at Madison International Speedway and the 2016 TUNDRA Series Championship. Other young hard charges making their present know in 2016 such as State Park Speedway winner Natalie Decker, Slinger Speedways Steven Apel and Alex Prunty, ARCA Midwest Tour race winner Derek Kraus, Elko Speedways Derek Lemke, DRP Assembly Products Dash Champion Skylar Holzhausen, WIR & DRP standout Bobby Kendall, Norway Speedways Robby Iverson and DRP Showdown winner Mike Lichtfeld will be the young guns to watch as they go up against a host of veterans. Crafty Veterans such as defending FALLOWEEN 150 and ICEBREAKER100 Champion Andrew Morrissey, along with 9 time Chicagoland Champion Mike White, 2015-2016 DRP Champion Tim Schendel, and Huntersville, NC. Erik Darnell, 3-time DRP Champion Kenny Reiser, Rockford Speedways Jon Reynolds Jr., Slinger Veteran Mike Egan, Grundy County Speedways Best Fast Eddie Hoffman, ARCA Tour Star Jason Weinkauf, Port Orange Florida driver Dalton Zehr who has over a 100 super late model feature wins from coast to coast, Dennis Prunty former Slinger Nationals and Habelman 100 Champion, and the always front running Jeff Storm plus many more. With the Super Late Model car count expected near 50 and a 40 Lap B-Main that pays $750 to win and the FALLOWEEN 150 winners share approaching a possible $6000 the 2016 version of the FALLOWEEN 150 should be an instant classic.
