Midwest Stars Set to Battle in Dells Badger State 125

UMA Super Late Models return to Dells Raceway Park this Saturday Night August 24th for the 4th race in the Alive for 5 Series "The Badger State 125”. Casey Johnson of Edgerton is the Current Alive for 5 Series point leader will lead the star studded field into battle this Saturday, Johnson has already picked up the winner’s check for the Icebreaker 100 at DRP & Capital 100 at Madison International Speedway and will be back to defend his turf. Andrew Morrissey currently second in the Alive for 5 Series points, a former ARCA Midwest Tour Champion & Icebreaker 100 champion is back to the place he calls home. Morrissey fresh off his 2nd place finish in the Howie Lettow 100 at Madison International Speedway last Friday is poised for a victory. Hubertus WI driver Johnny DeAngelis Jr. would like nothing better to get into Dells Raceway Park Victory Lane, DeAngelis, who finished second to Majeski in the Dixieland race running door to door in the closing laps followed up with a top 5 run at the Lettow race and is on the verge of his first win in the Alive for 5 Series Roscoe IL driver Austin Nason who was the big winner of the ARCA Midwest Tour race on Father’s Day weekend at the Milwaukee Mile and current point leader will try to keep the good times rolling as he sets his sights on the $4500 winners share of this weekend’s Badger State 125. Rich Bickle is looking forward to Saturdays Round 4 of the Alive for 5 Series which is one of Rich’s favorite tracks where he clicked off 14 feature wins in a row at one time before NASCAR came calling, Bickle finished 3rd in the 2019 Icebreaker 100 at the speedway. John Beale will be up for the challenge as he has posted 2 wins in the Wisconsin Challenge Series in 2019 at State Park Speedway & Marshfield. 2018 Midwest Tour Champion and defending Badger State 125 race winner Dalton Zehr will be searching for his first win in the Alive for 5 Series in 2019. Zehr has won over 100 Super Late Model Feature events coast to coast will be looking to cash in on the top prize. Dennis Prunty is no stranger to good finishes at the Dells and is defending Alive for 5 Series Champion. Prunty looking defend the 2018 crown, is a past Slinger Nationals & Dixieland 250 Champion and is hungry to get back to victory lane at the Dells. Skylar Holzhausen is primed and ready sitting third in the series points fresh off a segment win in the Capital 100 backing up his second place finish in April’s Icebreaker 100. Also entered is 2018 Wisconsin Challenge Series Champion Ryan Farrell. Farrell is quickly becoming a fan favorite across the Dairyland and was the fast qualifier in the Trickle 99 back in June. Minnesota’s Dan Fredrickson has entered, Dan who always has a fast race car but is still in search of his first Alive for 5 Series event. Jonathan Eilen recorded an Alive for 5 Series segment win in the Capital 100 back in May of this year and was the 2018 winner of the Dairyland 100 at Dells Raceway Park. Nine times Golden Sands Speedway Champion Mark Eswein has entered with his eye on the prize and still searching for his first Alive for 5 Series Win. “The longer races fit my style” Eswein said, a little patience goes a long way in these big races, you have to keep your car in tact on a short track to be able to have a chance at the win. Fan Favorites Tim Lampman of Oak Creek & the hard charging Jeff Storm of East Troy WI have entered, Storm currently top 10 in the standing only a handful of points out of cracking into the top five, and Lampman is feeling good after his qualifier win in the Dixieland 250 at Wisconsin International Raceway in only his first ever visit to the speedway. Montello driver, Bobby Kendall also looks to add a Alive for 5 win to his resume, Kendall past winner of two Red, White and Blue State Championships at Wisconsin International Raceway. The 2018 Alive for 5 Series Rookie of the Year Jake Zellmer will be back home at Dells Raceway Park where he had many feature wins in the Late Models and TUNDRA Series front runners Cory Jankowski, Jordan DeVoy, Kevin Knuese, will try and defend his home turf, all this and more!
