Dells Raceway Park opened registration yesterday for the 5th annual Falloween 150 to be held Saturday Oct 19th and 24 of the Midwest Best Super Late Model drivers have already entered the fall classic. One of the first entries is NASCAR Truck Series driver Johnny Sauter who came back home earlier this year to Dells Raceway Park on his mandated NASCAR vacation to finish second in the Trickle 99 to ARCA/Xfinity Series driver Ty Majeski who has also entered the Falloween 150. Majeski has been on a terror this year since winning the Trickle 99 at DRP and after his second place finished to Matt Kenseth in the Slinger Nationals he has posted victories in the ARCA Midwest Tour Dixieland 250 and then taking home the win at Madison International Speedway in the Howie Lettow 100 only to come back to the Dells for the ARCA Midwest Tour Escape to Wisconsin 100 and set a new track record in qualifying plus take home the win. Majeski has also posted wins on the ARCA Menards National Tour at Pocono & Chicagoland Speedway this summer; Majeski was the 2017 winner of the Falloween 150. Casey Johnson of Edgerton is the Current Alive for 5 Series point leader and former winner of the Falloween 150, has already captured the 2019 TUNDRA Series Crown and picked up UMA wins in the Icebreaker 100 at DRP & Capital 100 at Madison International Speedway in 2019 and If Johnson could pull out a win and secure the championship crown he would be looking at an $8000 pay day for his efforts.
Roscoe IL driver Austin Nason who is the current ARCA Midwest Tour point leader and was the big winner of the ARCA Midwest Tour race on Father’s Day weekend at the Milwaukee Mile will try to keep the good times rolling as he sets his sights on the $5000 winners share of the Falloween 150. Rich Bickle currently 5th in the Alive for 5 Series standings and fastest qualifier in the National Short Track Championship at Rockford Speedway will be back at the Dells which is one of Rich’s favorite tracks and posted a pair of top 5 finishes earlier this year in the Icebreaker 100 and the Badger State 125. Andrew Morrissey currently fourth in the Alive for 5 Series points, was the inaugural Falloween 150 Champion an is back to the place he calls home. Dalton Zehr who has won over 100 Super Late Model Feature events coast to coast will be looking to cash in on the top prize. No stranger to good finishes at the Dells is defending Alive for 5 Series Champion Dennis Prunty looking defend the 2018 crown. Prunty, who recorded the 2015 Slinger Nationals and 2016 Dixieland 250 wins, is hungry to get back to victory lane at the Dells.
Skylar Holzhausen is primed and ready sitting second in the series points. Holzhausen had a segment win in the Capital 100 backing up his second place finish in Icebreaker 100 earlier this year.. Also entered is 2018 Wisconsin Challenge Series Champion Ryan Farrell. Farrell is quickly becoming a fan favorite across the Dairyland fresh off his 2nd place finish last weekend at Golden Sands Speedway in the Fall Harvest Event. Farrell was fastest in qualifying for the Trickle 99 back in June at the Speedway. Minnesota’s Dan Fredrickson has entered, Dan who always has a fast race car but is still in search of his first Alive for 5 Series event and Paul Paine from Mound MN will also be crossing the border looking for a winner’s check. TUNDRA Series front runners Jordan Devoy, Luke Fenhaus, Cory Jankowski, Brent Strelka and Robby Iverson and Jake Zellmer who was the fastest qualifier for the TUNDRA North American Cup back in July have entered looking for a Falloween Treat. Bobby Kendall who looks to add a Alive for 5 win to his resume, Kendall has won the last two Red, White and Blue State Championships at Wisconsin International Raceway. The winner of the first Midwest Tour event held at MIS, Brandon Hill has entered as has Super Late Model fan favorite Jeff Storm, John DeAngelis, Jr who led the most laps during the 2019 Joe Shear Classic and finished second in the Dixieland 250 back in August. Former State Park Speedway Champion MG Gajewski entered and Fast Eddie Hoffman, one of Grundy County Speedway’s best will make his return to DRP. Travis Sauter former winner of the Icebreaker 100 at DRP will be back for the first time this year along with Keith Tolf from Union Grove WI, Cameron Clifford from Norway Michigan and Rockford’s Jon Reynolds Jr. who will be the last car to qualify as the “X” marked the spot with the first entry to the 2019 Falloween 150; all this plus more!
