This week’s Throwback Thursday takes us to 2015 at Madison International Speedway. Gildan Racing started off swinging for the fences taking their Limited Late Model and competing in the Joe Shear Classic. John had never competed in a Super Late Model event before but he was able to qualify 11th out of 30 cars. With the invert he would have started on the pole position with eventual race winner Johnny Sauter starting behind him. Due to his rookie status John decided to start at the tail of the field and worked his way up to 11th place. For the rest of the 2015 season John raced at Madison International Speedway in the Limited Late Model division. He won 3 Fast Dash events and a feature race to end the season. Those results earned John another Rookie of the Year award and 4th place in the overall standings. Brian Beale also competed at Madison International Speedway that year where he won a feature race in the 4 cylinder division.
