The CWRA, Cedar Creek Rustic Village, as presented by Bentley Trucking, Stars to Legends Tour will make its next appearance at Marshfield Motor Speedway, Saturday night, June 13th. For the 1/2 mile, paved oval Marshfield track, it will be the season opening event.
The CWRA Stars to Legends Tour has contested two events thus far with four different main event winners gracing victory lane. It is very possible, there could be two new winners with the two Feature event format CWRA utilizes at the Marshfield event as the Tour continues to be ultra competitive.
All the top drivers of the Tour are expected to be on hand, including point leader, John Beale of Verona, WI. Beale captured his first ever CWRA main event win at the last event, at State Park Speedway, of Wausau, WI. Two time defending, CWRA Stars to Legends Tour Champion, Jeff Weinfurter, Wis. Rapids, WI., will be in the field also. Weinfurter is currently 2nd in season points, and one slip by Beale could find Weinfurter on top the standings. Others racing on the night, include, Mark Mackesy, Wausau, WI., Paul Paine, Mound, MN., Putch Bentley, Iron River, MI., Darek and Monte Gress, Neillsville, WI., Brett Breitenfeldt, Wausau, WI., Mike Sievers, Wis. Rapids, WI., and up to 15 others. Travis Volm, Mosinee, WI., who picked off a Feature win in the last CWRA race has also indicated he will be racing on the night.
Besides the CWRA Tour Stars, Xtreme 4's, 6 Cylinders, Bandits, Two man Cruisers, and Skidders will also be racing.
The night at the track has also been deemed Buck night, with admission for 14 years old and under, admitted for just $1. Concession items, hotdogs and popcorn will also be priced at just $1.
Fan gates for the event will open at 5:30pm, with qualifying set for 6:00pm and racing beginning at 7:00pm. The pit area for race participants opens at 3:00pm.
