Marshfield, WI, Saturday, July 9th, 2022 – During qualifying John Beale set fast time in his Gildan Racing Chevrolet. Due to the invert, John would start in the last place position during the feature event. The championship points leader moved his #5B to the runner up position with 5 laps remaining during the feature race. With two laps to go he made the inside pass on Darren Jackson for the race lead.
In his post-race interview, John stated, “It was an honor winning the John Brevik Classic, it was an extremely competitive race.” This was John’s 12th Super Late Model win at Marshfield Motor Speedway. Because of the successful evening he expanded his points lead towards another championship.
Last Thursday night at Wisconsin International Raceway Dalton Zehr increased his points lead by having another strong top 5 finish. Dalton has a busy week racing again at Wisconsin International Raceway and then the team travels to Norway Speedway in Michigan for a Tundra Series event.
