It’s that time of year again where the Gildan Racing Team travels to banquets and celebrates their success from the race season. The Dells Raceway Park banquet was our first stop for the off-season where they picked up some hardware and winnings. John Beale was awarded with 2 fast times during qualifying in 2023 in the Super Late Model Division. “Dells has the strongest Super Late Model competition in the Midwest so I was happy that John showed speed this year” said Dalton Zehr regarding the team’s efforts in 2023.
Next up was the Tundra Series banquet where the Gildan Racing Team was crowned as the 2023 Champions. With 3 fast times in qualifying at Wisconsin International Raceway, State Park Speedway & Marshfield Motor Speedway it was a record-breaking year for the team. To top it off the team also had feature wins at Norway Speedway (Michigan), Golden Sands Speedway & double features at Marshfield Motor Speedway.
After the final race of 2023 concluded on December 3rd in Florida, the National Super Late Model Rankings were tallied. We are proud to say Gildan Racing topped the charts for feature wins (Dalton 6, John 2) and fast times (John 4, Dalton 3). Bubba Pollard Racing & Ty Majeski Racing tied for second in feature wins. In qualifying efforts, 7 teams tied behind Gildan Racing. National Super Late Model Rankings tracks the top 100 teams in the USA and we are proud that John, Dalton & the entire race team’s efforts are showing up on the race track.
