BEALE REACHES OVER 100 WINS
The competition has been chasing Gildan Racing on the track during the 3rd quarter of 2024. John Beale set fast time in qualifying for the Hawkeye 100 in ASA Midwest Tour action at Hawkeye Downs Speedway in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. This accomplishment pushes John over the 100 mark for wins under competition. He was able to drive from 8th to 2nd in the feature event.
ZEHR WINS IN FRONT OF HOMETOWN CROWD
Continuing their dominance in the ASA Midwest Tour, Dalton Zehr won the Howie Lettow 100 at Madison International Speedway. With the continued success since 2019, these results bring John & Dalton’s total wins during competition to 115. They had 29 fast times in qualifying, 28 heat race wins, 42 feature wins, 13 championships & 3 special awards (LaCrosse Speedway Track Record, Best Appearing Car & Crew Award and Crew Chief of the Year). This makes their winning percentage 21.14% to date as a duo.
Up next is the 55th Oktoberfest Race Weekend. Dalton Zehr will compete daily at this 5-day event at LaCrosse Speedway in West Salem, Wisconsin. HOPPE WINS OKTOBERFEST IN GILDAN CAR
Gildan Racing drivers have a rich history at Oktoberfest Race Weekend. In 2002 & 2004 Brian Hoppe was crowned the Oktoberfest Champion driving the #51 Gildan Activewear race car. In 2014 John Beale had fast time in qualifying for The Midwest Truck Series & in 2020 John was crowned the Central Wisconsin Auto Racing Champion on Oktoberfest Sunday. During the 2018 season Dalton Zehr was awarded the ASA Midwest Tour Championship trophy & in 2022 set a new track record at the race track.
